Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of The Vision Academy ("TVA") website and learning portal. By creating an account or accessing our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

1. Use of the Platform

You may use the TVA platform for lawful, personal or professional learning purposes. You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials with others or allow unauthorized access.
• Download, copy, or redistribute course content without written permission.
• Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or extract content from the platform.
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person.
• Use the platform in any way that violates applicable laws in Guyana or your jurisdiction.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at info@thevisionacademy-gy.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. Enrollment and Payment

Some courses and subscription tiers require payment. All prices are listed in USD unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. TVA does not store payment card information.

Refunds: Subscription plans may be cancelled at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period. One-time course purchases are non-refundable once the course has been accessed, except where required by applicable law.

4. Course Access and Certificates

Upon enrollment, you are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to access the course content. Certificates are issued upon completion of all required modules and assessments. OSHA completion cards are issued in accordance with OSHA program requirements.

5. Intellectual Property

All course content, materials, branding, and the TVA platform are the intellectual property of The Vision Academy. The "4 Quadrants of Artificial Intelligence" framework is a proprietary TVA curriculum framework. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from TVA content without prior written consent.

6. Onsite Training

Onsite training engagements are governed by a separate agreement confirmed at the time of booking. Cancellation policies, travel costs, and scheduling terms are set out in that agreement.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

TVA provides its platform and courses "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, salary increases, or certification recognition by any specific employer or regulatory body beyond the OSHA program.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TVA's liability to you for any claim arising from use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid to TVA in the three months preceding the claim. TVA is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Guyana. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Georgetown, Guyana, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be notified by email.
